Two-body, Louis XV, the bezel engraved with a repeated pattern, the back with a painted on enamel scene of a lady being crowned with a garland of fl owers, another kneeling before her, chased and engraved laurel and ribbon border. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic fi ve- minute numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, fl at balance spring, pierced foliate chased continental type balance cock, polished steel endpiece, silver regulation dial with hand. Movement signed. Diam. 43 mm.
