Two-body, ?Louis XV?, paste-set and chased bezel and border with a repeated pattern, the back decorated with an oval vignette of a lute and basket of fl owers, a quiver on the ground, the interior of the back with later engraved initials. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions and Arabic fi ve-minute numerals. Gold pierced hands. M. 25 mm., frosted gilt, full plate, conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement with three-arm brass balance and fl at balance spring, micrometric potence adjustment, continental pierced foliate balance cock with steel endplate, silver regulator dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 30 mm.
