CORTÉBERT, GOLD HUNTING-CASED DIGITAL POCKET WATCH Cortébert, Swiss, movement No. 8995, case No. 52266. Made circa 1900. Fine and rare, 14K pink gold, hunting-cased, keyless digital pocket watch using J. Pallweber's English Patent No. 5863, from 8 December 1882 for digital jump-hours and minutes.

C. Four body, "bassine et filets", polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the technical details within an engine-turned border. D. White enamel decorated with foliage, apertures for hours and minutes, subsidiary seconds. M. 19"', gilt brass, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, notched bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 51 mm.
