C. Rectangular gilt-bronze base with applied reliefs of a cow fl anked by dairy maids, bun feet, patinated bronze horse with glass eyes, basket saddle housing the clock, surmounted by a dairy maid holding a baton and a milk churn. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic 15-minute numerals. Gilt-brass Empire hands. M. Circular, gilt-brass, going barrels for both trains, anchor escapement, brass bob pendulum with silk suspension, striking the hours and half hours on a bell. Dim. 40 x 29 x 10 cm.
