Two-body, ?Empire?, engraved band, pearl-set bezel, the back set with a fi nely painted on enamel scene of Rinaldo and Armida within an oval gold paillon border, outer translucent blue guilloche enamel border surrounded by pearls. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 2. Gold hands with pierced tips. M. 37 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, brass balance with fl at balance spring, continental cock, silver regulation dial, repeating on a bell in the back of the case activated by depressing the pendant. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 48 mm.
