C. Ivory, "corniche", inlaid with silver, glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged silver and ivory handle. D. White enamel with black and gilt radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, scroll and bird decoration. Black fl eur-de-lys hands. M. Rectangular, gilt brass, four pillars, barrel for the going train, 11 jewels, straight-line lever escapement mounted on a brushed gilt platform, monometallic balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed LD in an oval. Dim. 70 x 50 x 44 mm. excluding handle.
