Notes

Urwerk SA was founded in 1997 with the launch of the 101 and 102 at Basel, followed in 2003 with the 103 which introduced the orbiting satellites the company has become famous for. The 202 pushes the satellite complication by adding telescoping hands to indicate the minute. The watch also has a new and ingenious type of automatic winding using air friction as a model and utilizing two turbines to regulate the winding and reduce wear on the movement. A selector switch on the underside of the case allows the wearer to control the amount of air passed through the turbines, thus modifying the intake for whether the wearer is putting the watch through high or low activity. Additionally, the undercarriage has an ?Oil Change Indicator? which turns red when the watch is in need of a service.
