E. M. EMANUEL & SON WORLD TIME TRIPLE CALENDAR POCKET WATCH Swiss, patent 6585, retailed by H. M. Emanuel & Son, Portsea, by Appointment to the Queen. Made circa 1890. Very fine and very rare, 18K gold, astronomical, keyless double-dialed world time pocket watch with triple date, moon phases and lunar calendar.

C. Three-body, massive, "bassine", polished with glazed covers, multiple correctors within the band. D. White enamel on the front made for Greenwich Time with radial Roman numerals, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the date and the months with inner subsidiary seconds, moon phase aperture, the age on the border. White enamel on the reverse with seven small subsidiary dials giving the time for New York, Paris, St. Petersburg, Calcutta, Melbourne, Vienna and Berlin. Blued steel spade hands. M. 19''' rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 56 mm.
