C. H. MEYLAN MINUTE-REPEATING SPLIT-SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH C. H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 5664. Made circa 1890. Very fine and rare, keyless, 18K yellow gold minute-repeating pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph.

C. Four-body, bassine et fi lets, solid, polished, hinged gold cuvette, the case back with applied yellow gold ?HHB.? D. White enamel with printed Breguet numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions with 5-minute red Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds dial and 30-minute register. Blued steel spade hands. M. 39 mm, fausses cotes decoration, 26 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs with hammers. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Diam. 50 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
