MALLET A PARIS QUARTER REPEATING TRI-COLOR POCKET WATCH Mallet a Paris, No. 8159. Made circa 1820. Fine, large, varicolored gold quarterrepeating pocket watch. Accompanied by the original fitted red leather case.
C. Four-body, the back engine-turned and engraved with fl oral and leaf patterns, the center with heavy fl ower engraving, concentric turquoise dots. D. Gold engine-turned with radial Roman numerals on a plain reserve, outer dot minute divisions. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 45 mm., gilt, going barrels, brass three arm balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs with hammers. Case signed. Diam. 52 mm
