Girard-Perregaux, "Chronographe à Rattrapante, Tribute to Ferrari", Ref. 1509. Produced especially for Ferarri in a limited edition of 499 examples in circa 1993. Very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant to 3 atm., 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button split-seconds chronograph and registers, three crowns, 40 hours autonomy and an 18K pink gold Ferrari buckle. Accompanied by a mahogany fitted box and certificate.
C. three-body, solid, polished, case back with 8 white gold screws, engraved with the Ferrari logo and the dedication, polished band, brushed pyramidal bezel, domed crystal. D. matte silver with applied pink gold indexes, auxiliary dials for the seconds, the 12 hours and 30 minutes registers, under the 12 the "Ferrari" logo, outer 1/5th second scale. "Dauphine" pink gold hands. M. Cal. 8290, rhodium-plated, 27 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, the button on the 8 is for start-stop and return to zero functions of the split-seconds chronograph hand. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm.
