Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1900, made for the Indian market. Fine and interesting 14K gold hunting-cased keyless quarter-repeating watch with concealed erotic automaton.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, engine-turned covers, gold hinged double cuvette hiding the automaton depicting a monk visiting a nun in a convent for an experience perhaps not holy, but certainly wholly enjoyable. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold ?spade? hands. M. 46 mm., frosted gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, uncut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, centrifugal ?silent? governor, repeating on gongs by a slide on the band. Diam. 55 mm.
