L. Vrard & Co., Tientsin, Swiss made for the Chinese market, circa 1910. Very fine 18K gold hunting cased keyless double train Grande Sonnerie carillon clockwatch with quarter-repetition.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold ?spade hands. M. 39 mm. (17???), frosted gilt half-plate caliber, going barrels with tandem winding, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, carillon on three gongs with three hammers, repeating via pushbutton in the band at 6 o?clock. Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 49 mm.
