C. Three-body, displayed back (cuvette abandoned), undercut band to fit into special opening in the box. Box: three-body, metal seat, lock, ivory plaque at the top. D. White enamel, large radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. 53 mm (23 1/2???), frosted gilt full plate, 13 jewels, going barrel, Earnshaw-type spring detent chronometer escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance recessed for free-sprung helical balance spring with terminal curves, cock with diamond endstone, jeweled to the third wheel. Signed on dial and movement. Diam. 65 mm.
