Longines, Aero, No. 5810648, Swiss, circa 1938. Fine aluminum siderograph made for the Marine Nationale Aeronotique Navale with centre seconds, double split-seconds recorder, 30-hour power reserve indication and stop feature.
C. Cylindrical, massive, back secured by five screws, chronograph pushbutton at 2 o?clock, knob for setting 60 seconds revolving dial at 11 o?clock, winding/setting stem at 6 o?clock, stop lever at 5 o?clock. D. Two tone silvered divided into 360 degrees with outer revolving chronograph ring, inner red decimal division and up-and-down sector at 6 o?clock. M. 43 mm (19???), rhodium-plated, ?fausses-côtes? decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring with micrometric cam-type regulator. Split-seconds recorder with visible work. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Diam. 94 mm.
