Longines, 'Lindbergh', invented by Col. Chas. A. Lindbergh, US Pat. 1923305, launched on the market in 1932. Very fine and very rare hour angle, stainless steel aviator's wristwatch with indirect center-seconds system and two crowns.
C. three-body, polished, revolving silver bezel with the enameled 15 degrees graduations in black and blue Arabic numerals, graduated rounded band, the crown at 2 o'clock activates the central revolving dial. D. matte silver with enameled Roman numerals for the 12-hour indication, concentric, the 180 degrees in blue Arabic numerals, at the center, revolving champagne dial bearing the 60 minutes and the 15 degrees in red Arabic numerals. ?Feuille? blued steel hands. M. 11 1/4''' rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case, and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm.
