Front and sides entirely decorated with Boulle marquetry in silver, brass and tortoiseshell, with scrolling, stylized flowers and foliage and birds with silver frames engraved with twisted rope pattern, rectangular molded base, ormolu edges, oval top surmounted by an ormolu appliqué with two torch finials on each side, four pawn ormolu feet. D. Silvered ring with champlevé radial Roman numerals and half-hours indexes, inner quarter-hour ring, outermost minutes numbered from 1 to 60, applied on gilt dial plate richly engraved with scrolling, flowers and foliage. Blued steel ?feuille? hands. M. Square, 13 x 13 cm, brass full plate, baluster pillars, two going barrels, verge escapement, silk suspension, short pendulum with circular brass bob, brass count wheel set on the back plate, striking on a bell set at the top. Signed on the back plate. Dim. Height 55 cm, width 29 cm.
