Two-body, ?Louis XV?, back painted with a countryside scene, depicting a young man courting a maiden, border with floral and foliate pattern, inside painted with bouquet of flowers, bezel painted with rural scenes, inside of the bezel with flowers. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic figures, outermost with 31-day date ring, innermost with days of the week ring, winding aperture between 3 and 4 o?clock. Gold ?beetle and poker? hands, calendar with blued steel ?arrow? hands. M. 36 mm., hinged, gilt brass full plate with pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, continental cock. Signed on the movement. Diam. 48 mm.
