Two-body, ?Louis XV?, back painted with a scene set in a garden, a seated lady playing the mandolin, while a gentleman standing behind her plays the flute, inside painted with bouquet of flowers, bezel painted with rural scenes. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic figures, winding aperture at 4 o?clock. Gilt ?Louis XV? hands. M. gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, single-footed cock. Signed on the movement. Diam. 48 mm.
