Unsigned, Neuchatel, circa 1800. Very fine 18K gold center-seconds watch with painted on enamel dial, manual perpetual calendar and signs of the Zodiac.
C. Two-body, ?Directoire?, polished. D. White enamel, below dial with Breguet numerals for the hour and minute indications, blue enamel outer minute ring with gold fifteen-minute Arabic markers, above dial with days of the week with blue enamel concentric indication of day and date, outer sector with months and their duration, opposite corresponding Zodiac signs, painted on enamel scene with a young man and young lady. Gold hands. M. 48 mm., hinged, gilt full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement plain brass balance with flat balance-spring, continental cock. Diam. 55 mm.
