Jaques Willems a Malines, No. 492, circa 1790. Fine 18K gold quarter-repeating watch, striking on a bell and with ?à toc? option.
C. Two-body, polished. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute star divisions, winding aperture at 2 o?clock. Gold ?arrow? hands. M. 40.6 mm., hinged gilt brass full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass tree-arm balance, flat balance spring, continental cock, repeating on bell by depressing the pendant, lever at 6 o?clock for changing from bell to dumb repeating, gilt dust cap. Signed on dial, movement and dust cap, case stamped with Neuchâtel guarantee mark. Diam. 56 mm.
