Teyssot á Chessy, circa 1880. Very fine 18K gold keyless pocket chronometer that obtained the ?Bulletin de l?Observatoire de Genève?.
C. Four-body, ?Empire?, back with elaborate initials surmounted by a ducal crown, reeded edged of the bezels, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute dot divisions with five-minute Arabic red figures, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel ?fine? hands. M. 42 mm. (18 1/2???), nickel, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 18 jewels, pivoted detent chronometer escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with large gold screws, blued steel helical balance spring with overbanking prevention pin, index regulator, wolf-tooth winding wheels, pin-set. Signed on the movement. Diam. 49 mm.
