Unsigned, Geneva, circa 1830. Fine and rare 18K gold and enamel, ogival pendant watch with visible spinning balance and small seconds.
C. Two-body, the back cover flinqué engraved with azure enamel, within a geometrical frame of black and white champlevé enamel, the band engraved and decorated with an azure enamel rope twist against a black enamel background, gold, screwed cuvette. D. Ogival, translucent blue enamel, below the white enamel dial with Breguet numerals and outer minute divisions, in the centre the aperture for the balance oscillating against a polished blued steel plate, above the white enamel sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. 15 x 28 mm., ogival, full plate brass, fixed barrel, cylinder escapement, plain silver four-arm balance set with rose-cut diamonds, visible through the dial.
