Leonard Bordier, No. 11974, circa 1810. Very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel, pearl- and diamond-set pendant watch with visible spinning balance.
C. Two-body, back cover richly decorated with diamond- and pearl-set flower baskets and flower garlands on a blue enamel ground, center with diamond-set aperture for the balance, pearl-set frame, the whole covered by a glass, band decorated with translucent blue enamel over floral patterned paillons, alternating with pearl-set leaf decoration, en suite pendant, pearl-set bezel. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, eccentric set at the top part, outer minute divisions with fifteen-minute Arabic markers, winding aperture between 1 and 2 o?clock. Gold Breguet hands. M. 25 mm., gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring with four spiral diamond-set arms, very small diamond-set ?star? cock. Signed on dial and movement. Diam. 30 mm.
