C. Four-body, ?Louis XVI?, back cover with applied gold coat of arms against dark blue translucent enamel over sunburst engine-turning, extended hinge, gold hinged cuvette. Chatelaine of oval dark blue translucent enamel medallion with applied gold initials ?CC? surmounted by a gold crown, gold pierced triangular link for the watch clasp. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, each numeral in painted gilt cartouche, outer minute gilt dot divisions with five-minute Arabic red markers. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 25 mm., frost gilt, 11 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the case. Diam. 31 mm., length with chatelaine 135 mm.
