The Harp Unsigned, Geneva, circa 1810. Very fine and amusing 18K gold and enamel pearl and diamond-set musical box designed as a harp.

Front of the soundboard painted on enamel with an allegory of Music, winding aperture below within dark blue translucent champlevé enamel with doves setting a nest, above musical trophies, side panels with champlevé enamel with doves, flower jar, quiver with love arrows, pitcher, small pearl-set rosette at the top on each side, diamond-set neck with black and azure enamel, gold strings, round column with en suite enamel, key-ring suspension on double string short chain. M. Pinned drum playing on five teeth, five-wheel train, interesting speed regulation by a pin protruding through the case which changes the position of the last pinion bushing. Dim. 74 x 30 mm.
