The Red Tulip Unsigned, Geneva, circa 1810. Very fine and amusing 18K gold and enamel, pearl-set concealed dial form watch in the shape of a tulip, in original morocco fitted box.

The six spring-loaded petals finely painted in scarlet enamel over flinqué, half pearl-set spines, which reveal the dial when a leaf fixed to the stem is pressed, translucent green and graduated pearl base, closing by lowering the second leaf mounted to the stem. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions with 15-minute Arabic numerals. Gold Breguet hands. M. 18 mm ø, hinged, gilt brass full plate, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain three-arm brass balance, continental cock. Dim. Length 120 mm.
