The Jewels Unsigned, Swiss, probably made for the 1893 Chicago Universal Exhibition. Fine and unusual exhibition piece, 18K gold keyless watch with ruby-set movement screws.

C. Three-body, ?grande gouge?, glazed back, polished, gold hinged glazed cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Arabic numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds, sunk center. Gold ?Louis XV? hands. M. 45 mm ø (20???), nickel, 22 jewels ? the top ones in gold settings, two sapphires for winding gear and barrel arbor, the others red rubies, balance endstone plate of solid red ruby, all screws as well as cock base set with rubies, straight line ?moustache? lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, gold index regulator. Diam. 58 mm.
