Circular, brass, 2-train, anchor escapement, striking on a bell, three-rod gridiron pendulum with brass sunburst bob. Dim. 94 x 38 cm.

The Eiffel Tower, located in the Champ de Mars, Paris, was built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889 as the entrance arch to the 1889 World?s Fair. It has since become the symbol of Paris and one of the most recognized structures in the world. The tower stands 324 meters high and at the time of construction was the tallest man-made structure in the world.
