ALBERT H. POTTER ? WATCH WITH SIX COMPLICATIONS Albert H. Potter & Co., Genève, No. 327, circa 1885. Very fine and extremely rare, minute-repeating, 18K gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket watch with perpetual calendar and moon phases.
C. Three-body, "bassine et fi lets", polished. Glazed gold-rimmed cuvette to view the movement. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for week days, months of the leap year cycle, the date and seconds with inner moon-phase aperture. Blued-steel spade hands. M. 19"', nickel plated, 31 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, part in screwed settings, counterpoised straight -line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring with overcoil, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 52.5 mm.
