LONGINES 36-HOUR MARINE LEVER CHRONOMETER Longines, "Chronometer", movement No. 6403052. Made circa 1945. Fine, 36-hour going, keyless, marine lever chronometer with power reserve indication, in a mahogany deck box.

C. Two-tier mahogany box, gimballed and weighted brass case, threaded glazed bezel with reeded edge. Glazed cover over the movement. D. Matte silver, radial Arabic hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock with Arabic 10-second numerals, power reserve indication below 12. Blued steel spade hands. M. 19???, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to three positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patented cam-type micrometer regulator. Dial and movement signed. Dim. bowl: 91 mm diam., box: 15.5 x 15.5 x 10.5 cm.
