P. DUNAND QUARTER REPEATER & CHRONOGRAPH P. Dunand, Swiss, No. 31798, case No. 71230. Made circa 1900. Fine quarter-repeating, 14K pink gold, pocket watch with co-axial single button chronograph and register. To be sold without reserve
C. Four-body, bassine, polished, button at 12 for the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette, case back with engraved monogram. D. White enamel with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5th seconds track with 5 second red Arabic markers, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register at 12. Blued steel spade hands. M. Cal. 19???, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 54 mm.
