C. Rectangular, heavily engraved bezel, plain sides and back, the back with hinged door, two front feet, the top with a large hinged handle and a hinged wall mount. D. Gilt-brass dial mask heavily engraved with fl oral motif, the circular dial silvered with radial blue Roman numerals, apertures for the day, date, month and year. Blued steel spade hands. M. 115 mm., brass rectangular plates, fusee and chain, index escapement on a brass platform, balance wheel with large timing screws, Breguet balance spring, apertures to wind and to set the time, turn-wheel to set the days, lever to set the date, removable shelves containing rectangular placards for the month and year.
