THE SCALLOP SHELL Swiss, No. 792. Made circa 1870. Fine and unusual 18k yellow gold and enamel lady's pendant watch in the form of a scallop shell. Accompanied by a 14K pink gold chain.
C. Three-body, solid, hinged, multi-colored enameled front and reverse in a sea scallop design with fi nely engraved gold borders. D. Circular, white enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions. Pink gold spade hands. M. 21 mm, matte gilt, fussee and chain, plain three-arm balance, index regulator. Width 28 mm. Thickness 15 mm.
