ANONYMOUS SWISS MINUTE REPEATER, ENAMEL DIAL Anonymous, Swiss. Made circa 1900. Very fine and rare, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold wristwatch, converted from a pendant watch.

C. Three-body, bassine, polished, hinged case back, inner bezel with crystal to protect the movement, hinged central wire lugs. D. White enamel with printed radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold double spade hands. M. Cal. 30 mm, rhodium-plated, 29 jewels some in gold screwed chatons, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case signed MRM. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
