Three-body, ?empire?, pearl-set bezel, pendant and bow, reeded band, the back cover decorated with a painted on enamel portrait of a young lady with gold paillon highlights to her jewellery and costume, translucent green enamel background over radial engine-turning, pearl-set border. Spring-loaded and glazed cuvette. D. White enamel, narrow radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic 15-second numerals. Blued steel ovoid hands. M. 38 mm, gilded and entirely foliate engraved, ?Chinese? calibre, 10 jewels, standing barrel, counterpoised lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance with blued steel wings, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Case and movement signed Jequier in Chinese characters. Diam. 45 mm.
