Three-body, 'Empire', front cover painted on enamel with a portrait of a lady, red translucent enamel background, back with a stork amongst lilies within a red translucent enamel border to match the front, bezels set with half pearls. D. Three-quarter white enamel with gold paillon fl oral decoration, small dial with radial Roman numerals, outer gold paillon minute divisions, aperture at the left for the visible escapement. Gilt Louis XV hands. M. 34 mm, rhodium-plated, ?fausses-côtes? decoration, the mainspring housed in a large barrel mounted on the backplate,17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, fl at balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm.
