LONGINES 36-HOUR MARINE LEVER CHRONOMETER Longines, "Chronometer", movement No. 6403121. Made circa 1945. Fine, 36-hour going, center-seconds, keyless, marine lever chronometer with power reserve indication, in a mahogany deck box.

C. Two-tier mahogany box, gimballed and weighted brass case, threaded glazed bezel with reeded edge. Glazed cover over the movement. D. Matte silver, radial Arabic hour numerals, outer minute track, central seconds track with Arabic 5-second numerals, power reserve indication below 12. Blued steel scotties hands. M. Cal. 21.29, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 21 jewels, straightline lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperature and 5 positions, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, patented cam-type micrometer regulator. Dial and movement signed. Dim. bowl: 91 mm diam., box: 15.3 x 15.3 x 10.7 cm.
