C. Four-body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the prize medals, glazed gold-rimmed cover over the movement. D. White enamel, black Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Gilt Louis XV hands. M. 19??? frosted gilt, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band, silent centrifugal governor. Dial, case and cuvette signed. Diam. 54 mm.
