Two-body with split-pearl set bezels, the back enamel panel painted with a scene of a seated young lady in a landscape playing a musical box, a bird in a gold paillon cage hanging from a tree to her right, translucent royal blue background, paillon border. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals and outer gold dot minute divisions. Fleur-de-lis hands. M. 41 mm., hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, fl at balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Movement signed. Diam. 49 mm.
