AUGUSTE FAVRE MINUTE REPEATER CHRONOGRAPH Auguste Favre, Swiss, case No. 18057. Made circa 1910. Fine, 18K gold, hunting-cased, minute-repeating, keyless, pocket watch with chronograph and register.

C. Four-body, bassine, polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost 1/5th seconds track with Arabic 25-second numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register. Gold spade hands. M. 43 mm, frosted gilt, 35 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case punched AF & Ce. Diam. 54 mm.
