ONE-MINUTE TOURBILLON Paul Loichot Patent, Charquemont (France), No. 897. Made circa 1906. Fine, gunmetal, keyless Art-Nouveau pocket watch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator patented on 11 June 1904, Swiss patent No. 30754.
C. Three-body, "bassine", polished. D. Eccentric white enamel with radial Roman numerals with a fl oral decoration, aperture below the dial displaying the escapement mounted on the gilt tourbillon carriage. GiIt brass "Louis XV" hands. M. 20???, matte gilt brass, inverted, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, tourbillon carriage revolving once per minute. Movement punched with Paul Loichot patent number. Diam. 58 mm.
