ALPINE VIEWS Concord Watch Co., Swiss, movement No. 149404. Made circa 1910. Fine, sterling silver and enamel, 8-day going desk clock.
C. Rectangular silver with shaped upper edge and scroll sides, the front overlaid with translucent light blue guilloche enamel over striped engine-turning, fl anking the dial two oval painted on enamel vignettes of Alpine lakes on sunray engine-turned grounds, painted white enamel fl ower borders, hinged silver strut. D. Oval matte gilt with champlevé Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Scotties hands. M. 42 mm, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 3 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed. Dim. 11.7 x 7.5 cm.
