EBEL REF. 3/10 YELLOW GOLD Ebel, Swiss, case No. 8116003, Ref. 3/10. Made in the 1960s. Fine, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with a two-tone silver dial.

Matte silver with 12 fancy white gold indexes each set with one round diamond, at the center, revolving discs each with one diamond as hour and minute indicators. M. Cal. 10 ½???, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating fl at balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
C. Three-body, solid, polished, straight lugs, case back engraved: Thanx Alan ? F.S. D. Two-tone silver with embossed yellow gold baton indexes. Yellow gold dauphine hands. M. Cal. 106, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating fl at balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 7 mm.

The Baume & Mercier mystery watch was a gift to Alan Dale from the Concord Hotel following a performance. The Ebel was a gift from Frank Sinatra to Dale following a show in which Dale fi lled in for Sinatra as detailed in the accompanied letter from Dale's widow.
