GEORGE GUIGNARD YELLOW GOLD George Guignard, Genève, No. 7592. Fine and rare, thin, 18K gold key-wound dress watch with off-center dial. Made circa 1865.
C. Four-body, "bassine," reeded band, engine-turned and entirely decorated in a fl oral and leaf motif. D. White with painted radial Arabic numerals, hinged cuvette with incription. Blued steel spade hands. M. Cal. 39 mm, frosted gilt, full plate, 9 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, blued steel fl at balance spring, index regulator. Signed and numbered on the cuvette. Diam. 45 mm. 7 mm.
