BAKO RETAILED BY TIFFANY & CO. SILVER AND MALACHITE CLOCK Bako/Jotava, retailed by Tiffany & Co., France. Made circa 1940. Fine and unusual, silver, gilt and malachite desk clock with day, date and moonphase.

C. Six-part, polished, hinged stand, the gilt border and bezel engraved and set with black enamel. D. Gilt with Roman numerals and an outer minute ring, aperture for the moon phase, subdials for the day and date. Dagger hands. M. Gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, index regulator. Case and movement signed Bako, movement signed Jotava, dial and case signed Tiffany & Co. Dim. 9 x 6 x 12.5 cm.
