C. Four-body, solid, polished, bassine, inner exhibition back, front cover and case back engraved with stylized monograms, inside back engraved: ?Edmiston Gwynne from Aunt Tomiston, Feb. 23, 1883.? D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with 5-minute red Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 39 mm, rhodium-plated, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs by activating slide in the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 52 mm.
