DANGERS CHATELAINE GOLD AND AGATE Dangers, London, 1760. Very fine and rare 22K yellow gold and moss-agate watch with matching chatelaine and charm.
C. Two-part, Louis XV, the bezel and back moss-agate with gold scalloped borders, four moss-agate links on the matching chatelaine, all cast gold rocaille decoration, two matching smaller decorations on the side with transparent moss-agate, one with a agate set charm of a boot. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel poker and beetle hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with column pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, fl at balance spring, silver English pierced and engraved cock, silver dust cap. Dust cap and movement signed. Diam. 34 mm.
