C. Curved and rectangular chromed base and movement housing supported on a triangular rod. D. Glass with radial chromed baton hour indexes on the perimeter, mirrored center. White baton hands. M. 9 cm., battery driven, electro-magnetic pendulum. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 32 cm. Height 33 cm.

Leon Hatot
A watchmaker, jeweler and inventor born in 1883, he made movements for fi rms such as Van Cleef, Boucheron and Mauboussin.
He made electric clocks under the name of ATO, invented the 'Rolls' self-winding movement licensed to Blancpain, and took
over the business of the famous Paul Garnier. At the outbreak of World War II, the fi rm closed its jewelry business and the stock
was kept in a bank vault until it was sold at auction in Geneva in 1989. Leon Hatot died in 1953.
