Notes

Lot 283 - This very beautiful watch although unsigned, shows the infl uence of Lepine in its execution. It would have been made for a wealthy and fashionable member of the French aristocracy. The two meantime dials are not independently adjustable but are driven by the same arbour directly from the fusee wheel.
